Paldao Veneer: An Exquisite Collaboration

In the pursuit of excellence, real estate developer R.Evolution and the Fit-Out Contractor EMKAY partnered with Schorn & Groh, renowned for their mastery in sourcing and crafting fine wood veneers. From their esteemed "One of a Kind" collection, Paldao veneer emerged as the epitome of beauty and sophistication. Originating from Southeast Asia, Paldao wood boasts a rich history and distinctive characteristics, with its warm tones and striking grain patterns. Schorn & Groh delivered around 1,600 square meters of Paldao raw veneer for Eywa Experience Center, which underwent the meticulous bookmatched joining technique. This method, used to join veneers, involves consecutively gluing veneer sheets together with alternating front and rear sides to obtain mirrored matching. Utilized extensively throughout the project, Paldao veneer adorns doors, furniture, and wall panels, infusing each space with elegance and luxury. The collaboration between the three parties represents a synergy of craftsmanship and innovation, ensuring that every detail reflects the highest standards of quality and aesthetic appeal.
