Character / Color:
Bibolo veneer has a moderately porous surface. It has partly a walnut-like colouring and mostly a typical tropical wood structure, similar to mahogany wood. The sapwood of the Bibolo is white to light grey and usually about 5 cm wide. The heartwood is clearly set off, grey-brown to yellowish-brown and darkens strongly in the light without losing its shine. The pores are medium to coarse and scattered.
