The Bilinga wood has its origin in West and Central Africa. A tree with a height of up to 40m and with a diameter of up to 150cm. The trunk is usually straight and slim and can be up to 30m knotless.
The pink sapwood stands out strongly from the core wood with its golden yellow colouring, which can later darkening to a copper-coloured /orange brown. The texture is coarse. Mainly used for furniture, interior design but also outdoor applications.
